GoGreen

The GoGreen event by CLEAN Maldives is an annual drive to plant more than 1,000 trees across the Maldives. It unites volunteers from government, businesses, resorts, schools and local communities behind a single goal: a greener, more resilient nation.

GoGreen 2024

Held in Hulhumalé Phase 2 in partnership with Dhiraagu, GoGreen 2024 contributed to the national ‘5 Million Trees’ initiative launched to commemorate World Environment Day. During the event, 1,000 trees were planted — including Magoo (Sea Lettuce), Kuredhi (Ironwood), Dhigga (Sea Hibiscus), Hirundhu (Portia Tree) and coconut. Volunteers from Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and EyeCare Maldives took part.

GoGreen 2025

GoGreen 2025 saw 1,000 trees planted in HA. Dhidhdhoo, alongside the distribution of fruit plants to island households.
