MEAP — Maldives Environment Awareness Program

MEAP — the Maldives Environment Awareness Program — is a national-level initiative developed and launched by CLEAN Maldives in formal partnership with the Malé City Council. The program was signed into existence to provide a structured, scalable framework for environmental education and public outreach across the country.

Goals

MEAP aims to raise awareness of environmental issues among the general public, schools, businesses and government bodies. By working through an official partnership with Malé City Council, the program benefits from institutional backing and the reach needed to make a genuine national impact.
