Generate your green electricity with the Aeroleaf®: a micro-turbine that redefines wind energy.

The WindTree Project

The Maldives is one of the most vulnerable countries to the projected impacts of climate change, due to a combination of the small sizes of the islands and their low height above sea level. Like other small island developing states, the Maldives entirely depend on imported fossil fuel in meeting energy demands. Large amount of imported diesel is used for electricity generation and transportation. Almost 42% of the diesel oil is used for electricity production at resorts.

CLEAN Maldives is determined to install the WindTree in different areas in big cities and at least one area in small islands and resorts. The project aims to introduce renewable energy solutions that combine high technology with smart design, micro wind turbines with solar petals. A range of innovative products, elegant and completely silent, a seamless fit in both urban and natural environments

The Aeroleaf®
Light and almost always moving, the Aeroleaf is animated by wind from any direction. It optimizes the use of dispersed energy. The Aeroleaf’s rotation doesn’t create any noise thanks to its direct drive mechanism that functions without belts or gears. The Aeroleaf is notably adapted to exploit even the slightest of breezes and turbulent winds.
The Wind Tree
Ideal for communities and businesses alike, the Wind Tree is an asset that produces green energy while respecting aesthetics and urban development strategies.
